Mojacar is said to have a perfect climate and boasts the best all-year-round weather in the whole of Spain. Bordering the Tabernas Desert and warmed by the Mediterranean Sea, Almeria enjoys averagesummer temperatures of 25°C, endless cloudless days and up to 320 days of sunshine every year.
No wonder they call it the valley of the sun!
Winter is practically non-existent. It passes as if it were Spring with the sea temperature higher than that on land. Protected by the towering SierraNevada mountain range, the Mojacar region is an ideal destination to escape the British winter. With average winter temperatures of 12°C and littlerainfall the weather is typical of an English summer dayMojácar’s special climate makes the winters appear very mild in comparison with the rest of the South. The long luminous days of sunshine lend themselves perfectly to a beautiful winter break.
As for the summer, evenings here are just made for a relaxing moonlight stroll along the beach.
